This pickup maintains the quirky design of the original, meaning it uses a traditional Stratocaster bobbin with 6 polepieces. This is where any similarity ends, however! We use a noiseless (humbucking) split-coil configuration, taller Alnico 2 magnets and finer coil wire to create a much beefier-sounding pickup than the original. Turn your wimpy, stock Musicmaster Bass into a proper thump machine with this sleeper of a pickup.
